Happy Valentine's Day!

Sorry for the missing blog posts over the last month.  Work kindof took over, but it's half term this week so I'm planning on some playing, in between decorating (that's what teachers do in the holidays you know!).

This is the card I made for my daughter for Valentine's Day.  I used to make all three of my children cards and heart related gifts but the boys, at 15 years and 17 years, aren't too impressed with the "Valentine from Mum" anymore ;)

I've already got some decorating under my belt this week.  This wall in my craft room was pink (the room was my daughter's bedroom for a few years) but now boasts this bargain wallpaper I found in John Lewis.  I LoVe house images and this paper also features two of my favourite colours (and I managed to make the one roll cover the whole wall :) )

Hopefully my next blog post won't be so long coming!  Enjoy the rest of your day of lurrrrrrrrrrrrrve :)

  1. So nice to see you back on your blog....and I ADORE that wallpaper! Make sure you check out the current week's PDCC...the colors REALLY made me think of you! x

  2. Hallo, stranger! Love the wallpaper, what a great feature it makes. Bet you doodle over it.... or maybe not! Enjoy the rest of half term.

  3. Gorgeous card - I LOVE the stitching.
    And very nice wallpaper indeed!!

  4. Hi stranger, love your card, the stitching is fabulous as is your new wallpaper. Some great furniture too that I spy. Hope you are keeping well. Tracy x

  5. Lurvely card! Glad you've found time to do something for yourself! Great wallpaper - been looking at similar colours for my craft room at the flat - found the curtain fabric. Will be in touch, Chrisx

  6. Love your stitched valentine card Sarah and what a fab wallpaper. I reckon it's been made just for you! lol

  7. That's one very smart roll of paper. Hope you manage some time for yourself.
