Hurray! I managed to join in :) Normally on a Wednesday I'm finishing off my Play Date Cafe project for posting in the middle of the night; and I can't show you that!
Yesterday my daughter stole my normal crafting spot at the dining table and busied herself making ATCs to send to a crafting friend. They're all packaged up and ready to go.
These papers are the result of a bit of a shop at John Lewis yesterday - they were reduced gift wrap. I've been eyeing the butterfly one up for a while but wasn't prepared to pay the full price of £3.25, but half price? Yes please :)
Further along the table is a package that made me smile - my DT resources for my next challenge onJuly 16th. Since it takes at least 5 days for packages to reach me, and it's a fortnightly challenge, the wonderful people at USArtQuest wrapped up and dated my next three packages. It's like Christmas!
And finally, here's my new companion in my crafting space - well, she's sitting next to the computer waiting for the real crafting space to be sorted so she can live in there! The talented Tracy Doorbar made her :)
And all these! Guess which one is Sue Roddis' favourite lol. Available from The Cubby Hole.
Sorry, that post sounded like a shout out for some of the people I work for and it wasn't meant to be, it's just where my work space is at!
Welcome to WOYWW Sarah. I love love that butterfly paper. I want to drive to John Lewis now LOL. Those dolls look familiar LOL. I want a grungy floral one, as I love my garden and some grunge, perhaps I should have mentioned that to Tracy on Saturday. How nice to receive 3 parcels all at once, how exciting. I don't know how you manage to fit it all in with workshops. Have a great Wednesday. Tracy Evans x
ReplyDeleteHow lovely to see you playing along! Love all those parcels - you're very good if you don't open them early. I guess Sue's fave is the one with the witchy hat....???
ReplyDeleteWelcome to WOYWW Sarah. Me thinks I need a trip to John Lewis, those papers are beautiful, you have great taste!!! Now, spill the beans, are you a good girl and keep those packages all wrapped up until the date they should be opened or are you like the rest of us and just rip them them open when no one's looking?

WOW--that butterfly paper is super gorgeous:) Love visiting here--and look at that fun friend you have! All of your friends look so fun--I should share my chicken that sits on my shelf...his name is Party Chicken. HA:) Love you!!!
ReplyDeleteWelcome to WOYWW, Sarah. You are going to love it here. I bet you will get good at hiding your packages by the time these are all used. I never have that trouble. I can easily leave packages unopened till Christmas, if need be. People are amazed at my willpower. I've never heard of John Lewis, but those sheets are gorgeous. I especially like the one with clocks. Happy belated WOYWW.
ReplyDeleteWelcome to WOYWW, I too have become very adept at the art of package hiding... the sneaky things we do lol

Welcome to WOYWW! How on earth are you going to conatin yourself with those packages from USAQ!! I wouldn't cope with that unless they were buried or frozen!! It will be great to see what becomes of those gift wrap papers.
ReplyDeleteLovely workspace there and great dolls. I love the clock gift wrap you have - just wondering whether to toodle along to my local John Lewis (I can walk to one from my house - yippee!!) and see if I need it too!
ReplyDeleteThanks for the look at your crafty space...love the gift wrap - I like Paperchase's gift wrap (though NOT cheap). x
