I splashed out in the sale at Tesco and got myself a webcam and annoying headset. It's been soooooooo cool to see my great friend Julie Ranae in the States and chat for ...er... ok, it has been hours!
Enjoy a good nosy at other people's desks, and reassure yourself if you are an untidy kind of person (there's plenty of us out there lol) by heading over to the big boss's blog, The Stamping Ground :)

webcams are great things arn't they, i video chat on skype all the time, its my lifeline to all my crafty friends, most of which live miles and miles away :D

I love Skype, but only use a headset...once a week on Wednedays is often enough for me to share my mess online [grin]
It really is a "modern" marvel to be able to talk to friends in real time and enjoy seeing them, too. I have a friend who talks to me on Skpe all the time. It's a wonderful thing. Happy belated WOYWW.

Oh great to see you Sarah - a few hours chatting with a chum -nothing like it. Like the webcam affixed to the mug..not a good angle for me - would show too many chins!!
Aren't webcams great - only trouble I find is that if my room is in a mess it is on view. Enjoy yours.

Thanks for the late snoop. It is amazing being able to skype... it means I can see my daughters and grandees in far away germany and Brighton( over 6 hours from me). Still miss the cuddles thoguh!
